Ballygunge Government High School or BGHS (established in 1927) is a school in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.

This is a boys' only school for primary, secondary and higher secondary level students. The school performs with 3 sections in each standards. Till class 10 it's medium of instruction is Bengali and in class 11 and 12 it has both Bengali and English as it's medium of instruction.
Assembly Hall
School provides an assembly hall for daily prayer, gathering, seminar, cultural programs and many more events.
Science Laboratories
Our school facilitates its pupils with Physics, Chemistry and Biology laboratories with all necessary tools and equipments for advanced knowledge and understanding.
Mathematics, History, Geography Rooms
The school also has mathematics, history and geography rooms, to educate students with practical knowledge and a deep understanding of the subjects.
Play Ground, Cricket Pitch
Very few schools in Kolkata has a playground of the size as large as ours.
Students are facilitated with footballs, two goalposts in each side, cricket equipments and a cricket pitch for practice. Also, many cultural functions are held here as needed.
